Marny Requa has been invited to participate in Cornell University’s forthcoming conference on ‘Post-Uprising Justice Administration: Transitional Justice and Hybrid Regimes in Turkey and the Middle East’ (10-11 October 2014).
The event is being hosted by the Cornell Law School’s Clarke Initiative for Law and Development in the Middle East.
Marny’s paper is titled, ‘Lawyers, “Revolution”, and Transitional Justice: the Case of Tunisia’.
Drawing on our recent field research it will trace the activities of lawyers in recent Tunisian history, including the unique role of lawyers in the transition, and in changing legal culture in the country.
